How to brew oolong tea?

  1. Boil water up to 80 degree to 95 degree Celsius (ideally 125ml to 150ml for one cup).
  2. Use 2.5 to 3 grams of loose green tea in the pot and make sure the pot is rinsed by the hot water to raise its temperature then the room temperature which may not affect the ideal steeping conditions.
  3. Pour tea hot water into the pot or Gaiwan containing the oolong tea and strain after 10-12 seconds which allows the tea pot and the cup to acquire its aroma and also allows the tea to become tender enough to loose its actual sipping characteristics.
  4. Pour the hot water again into the pot containing the oolong tea and steep for 2 minutes (this can vary as per preferences)
  5. Strain into the cup and enjoy the delicious oolong tea.
